nike is sponsoring a world wide running event called the human race.

What is the Nike+ Human Race?
On 08.31.08, Nike is making a statement like no other before. Nike is putting on the World’s Largest Running Event. The 10k event will be the ultimate runner experience. By combining our digital running world with the physical, the Nike+ Human Race is open to anyone, anywhere. Nike is hosting race events in 25 cities around the world, but by logging into nikeplus.com, every city and every road can become a race-day course.

it’s amazing to think of people all over the world are coming together to just run. unfortunately, i don’t live too close to a host city so i decided to represent sac town and run here. once my information is logged into my nike+ account it will be transfered to the human race stats. i decided if this event happens again i will defently be apart of it in a host city. at the conclusion of each race, there is a concert! in los angeles, it’s kanye west.

so we had a “2nd” inspection today for the plumbing and electrical issues found by our general home inspection.

the damage: about $25,000 worth of work. we are hoping now our seller will agree to make some changes.

will you hope with us?

when i logged on to my nike+ account this morning this popped up:

i am actually at 911.80 miles on my nike+ account. but i still have several hundred miles to go with my new years resolution.

the inspection of the cottage

because of things much more difficult than i can fully understand…we are in need to close on our house on august 29th. and it could happen.

we have moved up our inspection to TOMORROW. let us all say a little prayer that our cute little cottage passes with a clean bill of health.

now that is a good “sign”
