shoes that is!

i found these pretty ladies on the nike running blog:

Searching for a lightweight shoe that doesn’t skimp on cushioning? Introducing your newest fave Nike kicks: the Zoom Start+ 2009. Designed for the runner who has an under-pronated to neutral gait, the Start+ provides a soft, yet resilient ride while still providing a lightweight feel. And what’s more, both the Men’s and Women’s shoes feature an eco-friendly design. Check out more of the details below.

The Women’s Start+ features a women’s-specific fit to truly accommodate the distinct shape of the female foot. By making the toe box shallower, the shoe now has reduced volume in the forefoot. Similarly, the Men’s shoe is built with a men’s-specific design in mind to give runners exceptional comfort and fit.
On the upper of the shoe, new technology has been implemented. An ultra-light and ultra-strong panel of Flywire has been added along the lateral quarter creating a lockdown over the footbed to ensure a snug and secure fit. For all you night owls out there, the new Start+ has added reflective elements on the toe box and heel to help with visibility in low-light conditions.

Natural Motion Engineering Principles have been applied to areas throughout the midsole. Added support encourages a more naturally neutral, efficient stride. Additionally, a gender-specific crash pad helps absorb the shock of impact and reduces the range and rate of pronation.
Finally, the outsole of the Start+ features unique elements including durable and highly abrasion-resistant BRS 1000 carbon rubber underneath the carbon pad, plus environmentally-preferred “green” rubber in the waffle outsole to give runners great traction and durability as well as added cushioning.

nice!
