jasen and i have been married 4 years ago today. it has been the best 4 years of my life and i am excited for 40 more years together.

I just received the following announcement from Atlantic Records (the record label that produced the Twilight Soundtrack):

The first single has officially been confirmed for the New Moon Soundtrack! Death Cab for Cutie has written an exclusive song for the movie entitled ‘Meet Me On the Equinox.’ Below is a statement from the band about the song:

“We are very excited to be a part of this amazing series of novels set in our own backyard. It just seemed a perfect synergy that a band from the Northwest would create a song for a series of novels set in the Northwest. We wrote ‘Meet Me On the Equinox’ to reflect the celestial themes and motifs that run throughout the Twilight series and we wanted to capture that desperate feeling of endings and beginnings that so strongly affect the main characters. This song marks the first attempt that Death Cab for Cutie has ever made at contributing new, unreleased material for a film and we are proud to be a part of the Twilight legacy.” — Nick Harmer / Death Cab for Cutie

i tried cotswold cheese at our neighborhood whole foods…and loved it.

i believe it comes from england, and is know as “the pub cheese.”

fitting.

This cheese will stand well on its own with crackers and grapes. But it also makes an excellent addition to recipes such as omelets or casseroles since it melts well.

sacramento antique faire

about a month ago i went down to the monthly sacramento antique faire. while there…i ran into local antiquers ryan and samantha with friends james and monica. they gave me a few quick tips about shopping…and off we went.

one of the first things i saw, laid exactly this way:

i found these few gems for our new house:

this a super cute owl cookie jar. not sure why i am so into owls…

or is it whooos there? either way…it is a made up word. it does not matter if it is spelled right.
when i returned home from camp…i found these on my fireplace from claire to help complete my collection.

i went looking for a mirror for our 2nd bathroom…and found exactly what i was looking for.

we also found a new dinning table. i ended up leaving and returning with jasen to see what he thought…then we brought it home.

i can not wait until next sunday when it is open again…and this time mom and mariah will be with me.

i have about 4 posts worth of pictures from the last month…so i will try to spread it out…so you are not overwhelmed with all this awesomeness.

i had another camp birthday this year. this makes 10! i love being in a place i love with people i love. love. love. love.

and what the camp couldn’t provide…we brought ourselves.
